-Compatibility-
Q: Will these hand controls fit my oversize 1¼ bars?
A: Yes, Sheridan hand controls will fit any handlebar with the standard 1" tube.
The 1¼ bars will require the selection of the counter bore option.

Q: Can I reuse my Brand "X" mirrors?
A: Sheridan hand controls are manufactured to fit the Milwaukee factory, 5/16
thread with a 9/16 base diameter, or any direct replacement mirror.

Q: Can I reuse my hydraulic lines and fittings?
A: Sheridan hand controls are manufactured to use the Milwaukee factory hydraulic
lines and 3/8-24 thread fittings, or any compatible replacements.

Q: Will Sheridan hand controls work with my stock factory switch collars?
A: The Milwaukee factory, switch collars are too large, as are the stock switch
collars on the large cruisers of most other makers. We are currently developing
our own reduced size, low profile switch collar.

Q: Will Sheridan Tech master cylinders mount onto my Metric cruiser?
A: Sheridan hand controls will mount to any handle bar with 1" mounting tubes, but
the stock switch collars may need to be modified or replaced with smaller
aftermarket pieces to provide, lever resistance arm clearance.

-Mechanical-
Q: What type of warranty for repair do you offer?
A: Sheridan hand controls are warranteed for life under normal road use conditions.
If the units should become damaged or need repair, we will arrange to provide
     the necessary repair service.

Q: Are Sheridan hand controls rebuildable by the average driveway mechanic or is
this a Sheridan Tech only procedure $$?
A: Assembly and bleeding instructions are provided with each $25 rebuild kit, and
should be within the ability of the average mechanical enthusiast, or Sheridan
Tech will perform this service for free.

Q: What do you offer for a matching clutch cable pull, for those of us without a
    juice system?
A: We are currently developing a clutch cable pull unit, that will look like, behave
like, and by all outward indications, appear to be a hydraulic device.

Q: Does installation require any special tools?
A: No, each unit or pair includes 1 large and 1 small syringe for reverse flow
    bleeding and isopropyl alcohol cleaning.

Q: Why such insistance for using Dot 5 silicone fluid?
A: Dot 3, 4 and 5.1 brake fluids, are glycol based and caustic. Because Sheridan
hand controls are bled out, through the ports at the master cylinder open end, any
residual fluid of these types, could be disasterous to paint, polymer components
    and humans.

Q: What is the expected service life between rebuilds?
A: Considering the different riders, styles and techniques, you could consider an
average of 30,000 miles, or whenever there is a noticable degradation of
    performance.

-Finish Options-
Q: What anodize colors are available?
A: We offer black or clear anodize, in a satin or gloss finish. If the customer prefers
a different "standard" anodize color, we can arrange it.

Q: I want to color match with powder coat. Are these master cylinders available in
    bare metal?
A: Yes, on request we can ship the units unassembled, in unfinished bare metal.
Note in the purchase page "option request", if you will be powder coating the
body and /or the lever, therefore requiring extra clearance.

Q: Can these master cylinders be ordered without the engraved "Sheridan" logo?
A: All Sheridan hand controls have our signature logo, except for those requesting
    "powder coat".
